My lens broke. My favorite lens in the whole world. My Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L. I love doing wide angle landscape shots. And now I can’t because I just sent my lens back to the US with my sweet Aunt who is sending it off to Canon for repair. So I decided to use this time to learn something new. Or at least do something new. I am going to spend the next 10 days focusing on the details. This is especially helpful for me as I sit in hibernation with my little cub, overlooking a beautiful valley that I can’t fully capture. So I am going to find beauty in the details.
Since I literally just decided this I am starting off this ten-day study on detail with a photo I took in Amsterdam, the masters of detail. Tomorrow, I start my search in this beautiful valley for the little details that make this place magical.
