I haven’t been making it to the actual sunset. Only just before. And since my 10 days is over soon, I need to make an actual sunset shoot happen. As the sun is sinking below the horizon because that is when the true light magic happens. I have been seeing it from the comfort of my sofa, through the palm fronds and trees and vines, just beyond and out of reach for a new mother such as me. So tomorrow. A real sunset. Because I need those colors in my soul.
