If I could have any job in the world, it wouldn’t be a photographer. It would be someone studying photography. I would just attend photography workshops all year round and with all of my favorite photographers in the world’s most beautiful places. I would be constantly learning and constantly around like minded-ish individuals who love to stare at the stars and capture all of the magic that this grand universe has to offer. Sleeping on the ground with only a tent to separate me from the earth and a fire to warm my hands. Making a hot round of french pressed coffee at dawn before trekking out to the mystery that awaits the lens. 365 days like the one pictured here, taken during my photography workshop with Trey Ratcliff in New Zealand.
Who would I study with? Darren Jew and Babak Tafreshi are on my next up list. I also just donated to a fundraiser so that I might win a trip to the Caribbean to photograph whales with Christina Mittermeier. These are a few of my favorite light beings. They photograph the sea and the stars and there really isn’t anything more magical than that.
