And I only had my point and shoot. What a dummy. I packed my DSLR deep into my hiking back pack because I didn’t want to be bothered with it on the way up the mountain to Bigu, Monastery. This was one of the biggest mistakes of my existence. The scenery was unreal. And I WON’T be doing this hike ever again. Someday I will write about the three days of blood, sweat and leeches (and yes, tears) that I experienced to make it to the top of this mountain. But for now, here is this photo of a beautiful place taken with a camera that did not deserve to behold it.
