It was surreal seeing these lumbering giants up close and personal at Chitwan National Park. I only ever saw one rhino and her cub while on safari in Namibia and it was very far away. The Greater One-Horned Rhino was once on the verge of extinction but now has made a comeback thanks to the efforts of the national park. This comeback was very apparent because I saw several during my three-day stay. Nothing makes me happier than seeing wildlife thrive in their natural habitat.
