I went to Israel for the first time in 2009 with a girlfriend of mine that asked me to attend a hippy-dippy course on reconnective healing. I am pretty sure it was a scam but it got me out in the world again after years of being stuck in the US playing the guitar. And I became so enamored with this place that I went back a few months later and did a full tour of the region.
