It’s Namib Desert week and this is picture number two of my seven-part ATM series. It was taken during an aerial photography tour that I took from Swakopmund across the Namib Desert to Sossusvlei. Usually, the word desert does not equate to tranquility for me, but these ivory smooth dunes provide me with a feeling of serenity when I look at them. The photo was taken near the shores of the Skeleton Coast as the sun was setting.
