On our way to La Fortuna we stopped at Mistico Arenal Hanging Bridges Park. It sounded like a pretty cool place but it also sounded kind of touristy. This place majorly exceeded my expectations. We woke at 4 am to head to Arenal from Nosara. By the time we finished the 4+ hours drive we were a little tense and very tired. As soon as I stepped into this place I became aware of what an enchanted forest really is. The song of the cicadas played over a symphony of pattering raindrops and the awake sound of magic evaporating with the steam. This is a place I will return to again and again.
