The Cape of Good Hope is a dry place with many days of cloudless skies. In fact, Cape Town is now experiencing a water crisis. The expect to run out of water in 2019. In order to make it that far, householders are only allowed 50 liters of water per day.
And across the pond here in Costa Rica, we are experiencing so much rain that I again could not make it down to the beach for sunset. It’s been raining for days now. Usually green season comes on heavy in September. This is early. Way early.
Some would call it global weirding.
So for my last day of sunsets and magic here is a shot from my 2016 trip to the Cape of Good Hope, one of my all time most favorite places. I love it so much that it makes my heart hurt with longing to be there soon.
So I failed my ten day mission of sunsets. But that’s ok. I have learned that failure is the path to success. So I am going to keep on shooting what I can, and find new ways to succeed.
