I had so much fun photographing this driftwood that I think I will do a 10 day series of these soon. I know I am supposed to be photographing sunsets right now but to be honest, I am finding this very difficult to do without my soul lens (L 24-70). I am stuck with my 50mm or L70-200, which I think I will lug out tomorrow night so I can at least get some color in these photos. It’s amazing how spoiled one gets after shooting with L series lenses. I can never go back unless forced to as I am now. In fact, next time I am in New York for my annual Christmas B&H shopping spree present to self (which I missed in 2017 because I was in Namibia, darn), I am upgrading L series 50mm. Because I do love shooting with a 50mm, but there is just nothing like the quality of L series lenses. So anyway, here is a photo, once again, at sunset but not of it.
I do what I want.
