Fisherman in the Red Sea

Crystal Stafford, Red Sea, Egypt, Sinai Peninsula

Do you have one of those places out there that you wish, more than any other place, you could revisit with your REAL camera and photograph LEGIT photos of the epic scenery? Well, this place is that for me. The Sinai Peninsula was one of the most uniquely beautiful places I have ever seen. The water is bright turquoise and underneath are pristine coral reefs teeming with brightly colored tropical fish.

This trip was a first out of country experience for me after a decade of being committed to my guitar and the places it took me, mostly seedy dive bars along the east coast of the United States. I decided to put my guitar down and buy a little canon point and shoot and venture out. After a short trip to Jerusalem with a friend for a healing course, I decided to go back to the middle east by myself and explore Egypt and Jordan. The places I saw got me hooked on a life of adventure and planted the seed for passion of photographing new and beautiful places.

But all I had in the beginning was my tiny canon point and shoot.

DO OVER.
