There are some landscapes that are so beautiful that you don’t even need a fancy camera and lens to capture it. New Zealand is full of such landscapes. This is a photo I snapped from the air plane as I was leaving using my iPhone.

My trip to New Zealand was a whirlwind. I went there for an HDR photography work shop with Trey Ratcliff, I left there blown away. We spent five days exploring the South Island for epic landscapes from dawn until dusk. Because of its latitude New Zealand has long sunsets and because of the Remarquables, these sunsets have an abundance of majestic mountains to paint, making for some of the most photogenic landscapes I have ever seen.
