I must admit, photographing the beach day after day has gotten kind of old. BEING on the beach will NEVER get old for me. But these beach photographs can all start to look the same after awhile.

But then I got a drone. His name is Andronio II (I crashed Andronio I in the Skeleton Coast after having him for only one week, it was sad, I don’t want to talk about it). Andronio II has changed my life. I now have a newfound purpose for sunset strolls on the beach. The ocean has become a painter’s canvas for my Lightroom tools.

This photo was taken at Ostional, the famous turtle beach. What some don’t know is this beach also has epic waves. So my maiden voyage with Andronio II took place yesterday at Ostional and this was the first of many flights for him and me.
