This picture was taken during an aerial photography tour that I took from Swakopmund across the Namib Desert to Sossusvlei. The flight was two and half hours long and covered 610 kilometers of ever-changing landscapes. It was by far one of the coolest photographic experiences I’ve had. It was also my first experience with aerial photography, it will not be my last. For the full photo essay head over to my Exposure site.
If you find yourself in the desert and want to take this tour, contact Pleasure Flights. They’ve been doing flights like this one since 1993 and I highly recommend them!
