This is picture number three of my seven-part Namib Desert from Above series. These pictures are actually part of a photo essay of more than 80 photos I took during a scenic flight from Swakopmund across the Namib Desert to Sossusvlei. This photo reminds me of something one might see on Mars. If you check out the full photo essay (link below) you will notice just how drastically this landscape changes from one moment to the next.
