This is a photo I took at the Phare Cambodian Circus. The Phare is not your typical circus with clowns and elephants. It’s a modern circus, which is kind of like a modern dance performance with gymnastic and stunts. And it’s AMAZING.

The performance outlined Cambodia’s struggle to rebuild its culture after the Khmer Rouge’s extinction of the educated middle class.

We bought these tickets at the last minute, not really knowing what to expect and left a couple hours later blown away. This was by phare one of the best performances I have ever seen. I would go back to Siam Reap just to see it again!
